IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Most portable electrical equipment must be Tested & Tagged in accordance with AS/NZS 3760 prior to introduction to commercial premises or prior to introduction to service on a construction or work site.
- If the unit continually trips you may be operating a faulty appliance – Do get the appliance in question for causing tripping tested by a qualified electrician before using again.
- Do unplug any electrical equipment from power prior to inspection or repair.
- Keep the IP66 rated surface socket covers closed to prevent the penetration of rain when not in use.
- Standard 10A plugged appliances and leads appropriate to worksite use can be attached to the PSOA but the connection will not be IP66 rated. These standard 10A plugged appliances should be disconnected in the event of rain and the IP66 surface socket outlet covers fully closed.
- Do use and fit IP66 plugs to your appliances to be used with your PSOA to provide a ‘Lock On’ secure fit which is IP66 rated and safer in all weather conditions
- Do ensure that the IP66 Rated RCBO cover is securely closed at all times. Do not let rain penetrate the RCBO.
- Do visually inspect the PSOA carefully before each use. If any damage is observed do not use.
- Do not use the PSOA in a flammable environment.
- Do not immerse the PSOA in water or liquids.
- Do not store the PSOA in adverse conditions or subject to impact as this may affect performance.
